How do you memorize your happiest time in a vacation?  Ten years after that thrilling experience can you still remember all the details about that get-away?  Well.. my way of chaining all those vacation memories is through my keychains.

I started to collect keychains from year 1996 after I came to US for my master degree. This was not a planned habit... The reason I bought my 1st keychain was because at that time, it was the only souvenir I could afford as a poor student.

My keychain collection grows year after year. And as I started to work, I could afford more expensive ones. And the material of the keychains that I collected also migrates from pure plastic to metal. Some of them even have nice boxes.

Every keychain in my collection has a story behind it. It is actually another good way to keep diary (or travel log). When I look back, I can recall most of the minor details when the keychain was purchased. Maybe I spent a lot on these little things. But the memory is priceless.

For your easy browsing, I set up 3 styles of arrangements. One is this main page, which keychains are kept in the timeline. You can drag and drop the timeline and move to a particular keychain.  Or you can try the catelog page where you use it as your travel reference to see which places are good to visit. For example, you can try national park if you plan to go to Yosemite, Yellow Stone, or Grand Canyon.  More stories about me and my family can be found on this page.

The 3rd style is implemented by Google Map API.  I virtually "hang" my keychains on the map.  You can zoom in to see more information on the locations that I acquired the keychains.  You can use the tabs under header area to switch the views.

I hope you have a wonderful time while reading through my collections. And you are welcome to email me for any recommendation of this page. In case you are interested in starting your own collection, take a look here:
